Michiana Contracting Names New Executive Leadership

Kirkpatrick named President & CEO of Indiana Operations and Arizona Division

Michiana Contracting, a leading electrical contractor specializing in ITS, Traffic Signal, Airport, and commercial projects, has named Scott Kirkpatrick its new CEO. Kirkpatrick’s promotion draws upon his 25-years of industry knowledge and experience. 

Since joining Michiana in 2017 as President, Michiana has experienced steady growth. As the company begins this next chapter of expansion, the opportunities for growth are limitless. The talent, strength, and uncompromising commitment of the Michiana team is visible to the client in every project. “It is an exciting time to lead this team.” shared Kirkpatrick.

In addition to leading the Michiana Contracting team, Kirkpatrick will also oversee the Thomas Electrical division of Michiana Contracting that is based in Phoenix, Arizona. Kirkpatrick’s leadership will help serve Thomas Electrical’s field support teams and allow for further expansion of service offerings to customers and business partners. 

Also joining the Thomas Electrical leadership team and reporting to Kirkpatrick is Matt Kotasz, who will serve as General Manager of the division. In this role, Kotasz will directly lead the Thomas Electrical team as they execute their growth goals.  

The leadership appointments support the continued growth of the Michiana Contracting family of businesses and will further help build the foundation for future innovation and quality service for customers across the country.
